Do you offer a warranty or guarantee on your work?

We offer one of the best guarantees in the country.  We will guarantee the quality of our craftsmanship for LIFE.  Simply put, we will repair or replace anything that fails due to our workmanship.  All parts and equipment will be warrantied in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

What is your hourly rate?

All of our repairs are quoted up-front using a Flat-Rate pricing system.  We do not charge an hourly rate for time and materials.  Our pricing offers full transparency, so there are no surprises when the work is done.  Our technicians will go over the cost of each repair in detail BEFORE the work is started.

Does my HVAC equipment need to be service every year?

Yes!  All heating & cooling equipment needs to be serviced routinely to keep them running at peak efficiency.  This important service will also help avoid unexpected breakdowns.  We recommend having your heating system serviced in the winter and your air conditioning system serviced in the summer.

Does my water heater need routine service?

Both water heaters and tankless water heaters do require service to keep them running at peak efficiency.  All manufacturer's require at least annual cleanings, flushing and inspections.  The professionals at Feldman are experts when it comes to hot water.  We can maintain your water heater, make sure it is safe and working to its full potential.

Do you offer payment options?

We offer a variety of payment choices for our customers.  We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.  We even offer great financing options* as well.  We offer a variety of no-interest and low-interest plans that can allow you to pay over time.  Ask your project manager for more details.

Do we serve your area?

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes!  We offer FREE in home evaluations for many different types of HVAC projects.  You can schedule to have a project manager come out to you.  We will discuss the project and come up with solutions that can best meet your needs.  Keep in mind, that if you have a service issue and need a technician to diagnose or evaluate a problem, we would want to schedule a service appointment, not an estimate.  Estimates are typically for larger projects such as HVAC equipment replacement, tankless water heaters and other complex projects.

How will I know the price for the work being done?

All of our work is quoted up-front.  We will put together a detailed repair plan that includes all pricing necessary to complete the repair.  You will be presented with the options that best suit your particular needs.  We do this to help prevent any "surprises" when the work is done.  You can trust Feldman Heating & Cooling to communicate effectively every step of the way.

Do you offer extended service hours?

Yes we do!  We have an on-call rotation for emergency calls.  This means our technicians are available for you for extended service hours.  Our extended hours are for emergencies only, normal service work like cleanings or filter changes should be handled during normal business hours.  Our extended hours are Monday through Friday until 8pm and Weekends 8am - 4pm. In an effort to maintain our technician's work/life balance, we do not provide service for major holidays.   Yes, we know this is a departure from the norm, but we value our employees and their time with family.

My water heater is leaking, does this mean I need a new one?

If you notice water around your water heater, don't panic.  There are many reasons that this could happen.  It could mean that there is a leak at a pipe near the water heater or that the relief tube is leaking.  In either of these cases, you probably do not need to replace your tank.  Feldman Heating can have a friendly and trained technician come out and assess the situation.  If we find the tank itself is leaking, this means that the tank will need to be replaced.  Let us help figure out your best solution based upon a proper diagnosis.
